ASSISTANT EDITOR

The Opportunity
Community Care helps social workers stay up to date with the latest and most significant developments in practice, law, and policy to help them to change lives for the better and flourish in their careers. We also support social work employers and leaders to recruit and retain high-quality practitioners and develop their staff to the best of their abilities.
To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the rewarding things you can expect to do:
- Produce Employer Zone content for local authority partners to help them meet their recruitment goals, hit deadlines, and manage relationships with clients to ensure the success of the campaigns.
- Working with the Head of Content to undertake a rigorous analysis of survey data and then present this back to senior leaders as part of our unique Retention Risk Tool.
- Supporting the Careers Editor to grow and maintain Community Care’s Careers Zone, a new part of the site aiming to support social workers with key aspects of their careers.
- Developing and maintaining Employer Profiles, Community Care’s unique ‘always on' content marketing strategy.
You will thrive in this role if you have
- High-quality editorial skills including interviewing, fact-checking, the ability to write clear, engaging copy, copy editing, and proofreading.
- A strong focus on customers and end-users and a determination to deliver on customers’ objectives.
- A strong ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Good research skills, including the ability to analyse survey results and pull out the key findings for reports and presentations.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.

Flexible working: 2 days in the office, 3 remote. This role is based from our Sutton, Greater London office
