SALES EXECUTIVE
A chance to demonstrate your transferable skills and join us as a Sales Executive in the increasingly topical healthcare sector selling media solutions to your customers.
This role comes with a salary of up to £27,500, plus around £10,000 in commission in the first year as well as multiple benefits.
We're offering hybrid working, a minimum of two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) working from our London office in Herne Hill next to Brockwell Park.
To give you an idea of how this Sales Executive role would look and feel, here are some of the things you can expect to do...
You will manage the daily operations of a portfolio of allocated healthcare journals. Selling print and digital advertising, bespoke promotional projects, and sponsorship packages. We want to see your creative side as you represent your brands at European conferences and attend regular client meetings to sell promotional packages that meet their needs.
What will you be doing?
- Selling print and digital advertising and associated projects, via telephone and face-to-face, for dedicated healthcare journals.
- Drive new business and effectively manage existing clients.
- Sell brand extensions, which include round table meetings, supplements, and events relating to relevant publications.
- Ensure all agreed sales targets are met, and our revenue potential is maximised through creative initiatives.
- Represent the journals at relevant conferences and meetings. These are predominantly UK-based, however, there is a possibility for occasional European and global travel.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients to sell new advertising and protect and increase existing business.
- Work closely with the management, marketing, and editorial teams to formulate suitable strategies to ensure the content meets market appetite.
We'd love it if you have held a sales role for at least a year, ideally within the healthcare sector, but this is not essential. If you have a track record of exceeding your sales targets, show us how these will be transferable. We want to hear all about those targets you overachieved on, all the new business/customers that you signed up as well as looking after your current clients. If you're a strong communicator who is confident and loves selling we definitely want to hear from you.

How are we working at the moment...
We have a hybrid working in place, where we are working in the office 2 days a week (if you want to work from the office for more than 2 days you are most welcome) and have the opportunity to work 3 days remotely.
