We're looking for a commercially minded Digital Content & Engagement Manager to own the development and monetisation of year-round community platforms, products, and digital experiences around our exhibition’s portfolio. This role combines editorial instinct with business acumen, leading content-led platforms that generate measurable value, engagement, and revenue.
Join a team of 550 talented professionals across 7 offices. In this newly developed role, you’ll shape how we connect with audiences online before, during, and after our live events. Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid model, three days a week in our unique Herne Hill office (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), fostering connection and creativity. The salary is £50,000 (DOE) plus Performance related bonus and company benefits.
The Role
This strategic and hands-on role is focused on building highly engaged digital communities around our exhibitions and live events. You’ll own the end-to-end performance of our digital content products from strategy and content design to monetisation, audience growth, and platform health. This includes community websites, video libraries, roundtables, and podcasts. You’ll treat these as business units, driving ROI, sponsorship opportunity, and brand loyalty beyond the show floor.
You’ll lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of digital content across platforms such as:
- Community websites
- Online video libraries
- Webinars and roundtables
- Podcasts
- Social media and email campaigns
You’ll connect the dots between content, product development, and marketing, helping us grow our audience, generate leads, and build loyalty throughout the year. You’ll also play a key role in shaping new digital products that add value for our customers and unlock revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Product Ownership
- Own the commercial and strategic roadmap for digital engagement products, using audience insight, performance data, and industry trends to shape product evolution and revenue growth.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of our digital content and engagement strategy.
- Oversee the lifecycle of digital platforms, community sites, video hubs, podcasts, and more, ensuring they meet audience and business needs.
- Develop year-round content extensions that keep audiences connected beyond the show floor.

Content & Engagement
- Source, curate, and publish high-value digital content, including video, audio, articles, and live sessions.
- Champion podcast development, offering guidance and best practice support across the exhibitions team.
- Collaborate with industry partners, speakers, and thought leaders to co-create compelling, relevant content.
- Experiment with new formats, delivery methods, and audience engagement tactics.
Performance & Insight
- Optimise content packaging and promotion across web, social, and email channels.
- Use data and performance metrics to shape decisions and report on ROI.

- Prepare regular updates on digital platform performance, audience trends, and product impact.
What We’re Looking For

- Around 5+ years of experience in digital content, engagement, or product marketing, ideally within B2B media, publishing, exhibitions, or SaaS.
- Proven success in managing multi-platform content strategies that drive growth and results.
- Comfortable working with CMS, CRM, analytics, and webinar tools, with the ability to translate insights into action.

What We Offer
- Professional growth, career development, training, and mentorship through our MAG Mentorship programme.
- A creative, collaborative space to share ideas and build always-on content strategies.
- You will be part of a supportive community that provides access to peer networking groups and cross-team projects.
This Role Is For You If...
- You’re excited by the challenge of bringing exhibitions to life digitally, not just during the show, but all year round.
- You can build digital experiences with measurable customer and commercial impact.
- You’re both a strategist and a doer, equally comfortable planning content and jumping into hands-on delivery.
