Equality Diversity & Inclusion - Our Promise
We know the secret to our success isn’t our award-winning brands, our sell-out events or the specialist content we provide - it’s our FABULOUS PEOPLE.

If you feel you don’t meet every single requirement when it comes to one of our vacancies? Keep reading.
Studies have shown that women and people within ethnic minority groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At MAG we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles
We aim to become the most inclusive business in Publishing both for our people and our customers, reflecting and connecting with the diverse communities that we work with. We want people from all backgrounds to feel valued for their individuality and thrive in our business and feel part of the family-run Mark Allen Group.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Our ED&I committee recognise, value and promote equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I), through a shared commitment to capture and define common aims, issues and concerns. We educate and encourage all people, helping them invite greater diversity in our workplaces. We highlight ED&I as a currently underused resource and support our people in adopting new behaviours and processes to create a more inclusive workplace that welcome and retains underrepresented groups
We want to support all our staff and are proud to have communities within the business you can join from day one.
Gender Equality Network (GEN)
People at Mark Allen are always recognised for their work, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
However, more can be done to improve equality in the workplace, so the network has been set up to raise awareness of gender-related issues and create solutions informed by employees.
It also aims to promote diversity across the group and work with the EDI group, internal and external teams to support the continuous review of Mark Allen policies and practices, ensuring that they reflect a commitment to gender equality.
MA Pride
Mark Allen is committed to building a working environment which provides equality of opportunity and freedom from all forms of discrimination, and LGBT+ employees and allies are a critical part of the group’s commitment to being inclusive and anti-discriminatory.
