Take ownership of the British Journal of Nursing, driving editorial excellence and impact by shaping trusted, evidence-based content that supports nursing practice and development.

Editor – British Journal of Nursing (MA Healthcare)

About the publication
The BJN is the leading clinical nursing journal written by nurses for nurses from the UK and around the world. Publishing 22 issues per year alongside 19 themed clinical supplements, BJN provides an essential evidence base for practice across specialisms including stoma care, IV and vascular access, tissue viability, oncology, nutrition and urology.

Commission high-quality articles from expert authors.
Plan and contribute to conference programmes.
Organise and manage peer review processes.
Develop, sub-edit and proofread manuscripts to a consistently high standard.

Upload pages to Apogee and Atypon.
Liaise closely with editorial boards and a team of sub-editors.
Represent the journal at conferences and industry events.
Collate author fee lists and manage contributor relationships.
Collaborate on wider editorial projects across the business.
Ensure all content meets quality, accuracy and deadline requirements.
