International Sales Manager - MA business
Hybrid (Dartford, 3 days in the office)
The salary is up to £40,000 (DOE) plus uncapped commission and company benefits.
We are looking for an International Sales Manager to join MA Business to lead the commercial performance of a key international title, driving revenue while strengthening long term partnerships and market presence.
As the International Sales Manager, you will take ownership of Intertraffic World, a well established B2B magazine published annually in partnership between MA Business and RAI Amsterdam, organiser of Intertraffic worldwide events. You will be responsible for generating revenue and working closely with editorial and RAI Amsterdam to deliver strong commercial results and exceed targets. Once established, additional sales responsibilities in a business development role within our automotive and aviation group of publications will be added to the role, creating further earning opportunities.
You will operate in a specialist international media environment where relationships, commercial awareness, and collaboration are key, representing a respected global brand at major industry events.
This role suits someone who thrives on ownership, works confidently independently, and is motivated by driving revenue and building lasting partnerships.
As the International Sales Manager, you will:
Take full commercial responsibility for display advertising revenue on Intertraffic World.
Work closely with RAI Amsterdam to maximise commercial opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
Manage and grow an established international customer base, developing long term relationships.
Represent the Intertraffic World brand at international events, including the main show in Amsterdam in March 2026.
Collaborate with editorial colleagues to ensure commercial activity supports content and audience needs.
Forecast, plan, and manage revenue performance against agreed targets, identifying new business opportunities.
Support with business development across additional MA Business titles, creating further opportunities to grow your portfolio and earnings.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Confidence owning and managing key accounts, including developing existing relationships and winning new business.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent a brand professionally on an international stage.
Excellent organisation and forecasting skills, with the ability to manage targets and deadlines independently.
A genuine willingness and ability to travel internationally as part of the role.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in B2B media sales or advertising sales.
Exposure to working with international partners or stakeholders.
Background in trade publishing, exhibitions, or event-led media environments.
Familiarity with sectors such as transportation, automotive or related B2B industries.
Experience working across more than one title or commercial portfolio.
