We are thrilled to announce that Musicals Magazine has exciting plans to increase its publishing frequency and distribution, extending our reach into the world of musical theatre for our dedicated, passionate audience.
Be part of this exciting journey we are about to embark on and combine your successful sales expertise with your love of musicals.
You'll be responsible for selling advertising and fostering strong client relationships, all while promoting this increasingly popular and growing brand dedicated to the world of musical theatre as our new Business Development Executive.

This role comes with a salary of up to £30,000 (DOE) plus uncapped commission and benefits. We're offering hybrid working, with three days in our Herne Hill office.
Key Responsibilities
- Form relationships with new potential advertisers to demonstrate the benefits of being involved in an evolving brand
- Drive new business by proactively seeking new clients from competitor media and your knowledge of the industry
- Use your creative selling skills to grow existing relationships
- Introduce media solutions across print, digital, e-marketing opportunities
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Follow and respond to developments within musical theatre industries
- Represent the company at trade shows/events
Transferrable skills required
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Confidence in selling advertising solutions over the phone, face-to-face and via video call
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Tenacity and persistence
A passion for musical theatre is a must!
